Wisdom vs Intellect

Knowledge is the key to Understanding the world around us, without understanding the world we interact with, it is impossible to truly understand yourself. To many people place importance on things such as test scores and formal qualifications. Instead people should place the upmost importance on gaining wisdom. This is done by gaining an understand of the world around us, our friends family and our daily interactions with both people and the environment. Take the time to reflect on your interactions with people, no matter how insignificant they may seem. Whilst everyone’s journey is individual and there is no way to experience everything in life, by reflecting on interactions with others, you will begin to interpret things as if you have experience all the things these people have also experienced.

Take the opportunity to learn new things, no matter how insignificant they may seem, analysis everything around you, from how your ball point pen works, to the complexities of a computers programming. You will find by considering these things your understanding of how everything in the world fits together will grow exponentially. Don’t limit yourself to learning about one topic or item. Everything and everyone you interact with is worth reflecting on and studying, as it’s a part of your life no matter how insignificant. Without understanding the little things in life it is impossible to understand the big things.

it Is your own responsibility to educate yourself on the workings of the world around you, you must crave knowledge, crave understanding, the key to experiencing life to the fullest is to understand what you are dealing with. Everyone makes mistakes and people should not be negatively reprimanded for mistakes made, learning from your mistakes is vital to your growth of your being.

  1. That's a very significant point. Unfortunately, midst busy life, people are running after appearances rather than the internal quality of a person. The 'herd' attitude makes it difficult for people to notice and reflect on things. This is even the case for one's own self. People lead their lives without full awareness of the self. This is a frustrating fact we see every where.

I appreciate the intention that pushed you to share this. It's an appreciated reaction from your side to these scenes of absent-mindedness. I encourage you to post a link back to your post in my post: http://philosophy-of-living.com/the-lost-life/ I discuss there about self-awareness. Without it, everything is lost and life becomes a sort of automata.
